About Wendy

Wendy began her real estate career in 2002 at Rowan Realty, her family’s firm founded in 1963 by her aunt, Harriet Rowan. Real estate has always been part of her life, and she was mentored by her mother, Carole Zeilman, whose 50+ years of experience and exceptional sales record helped shape Wendy’s client-first philosophy.

A lifelong member of the community, Wendy was raised in Carle Place, graduated as salutatorian of Carle Place High School, attended Duke University, and earned her Master’s Degree from Pratt Institute. She and her husband Tom, a prominent litigation attorney who served as Village Justice in Westbury for 32 years, have lived in Westbury Gardens for over 40 years while raising their three children.

Deeply committed to the community, Wendy serves as Vice President of the Westbury-Carle Place Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Directors for Westbury Arts, and is a member of the Village of Westbury Planning Board. She was honored as Long Island Businesswoman of the Year by the Westbury branch of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce and recognized at Espoir’s 10th Anniversary Gala for supporting its mission of providing educational services to underserved communities.

A licensed New York State Real Estate Broker since 2002, Wendy holds certifications including Commercial and Investment Real Estate (CIRE) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource® (SFR). She has successfully represented hundreds of buyers, sellers, and landlords throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Known for her market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and trusted network of industry professionals, Wendy delivers a seamless experience from contract to closing.
